Host and Founder, From The Bleachers
Dan is the host of "From The Bleachers" on WQAQ, as well as one of the co-hosts of "The Hub", a hockey podcast alongside Nick Beaudoin. Dan is responsible for the production and on-air operations of the show, as well as the production, editing, and uploading of the podcast. Along with his on-air work, Dan works as the Media Assistant for the Hartford Yard Goats Radio Network. He is also a DJ and emcee for All-Star DJ Entertainment. He works as a play-by-play announcer for Quinnipiac Athletics, and is a writer and broadcaster for the Quinnipiac Bobcat Sports Network. Dan is currently attending Quinnipiac University, where he is pursuing a degree in journalism.
Lead Baseball Analyst and Co-Founder
Conor Byrne is our baseball analyst on "From The Bleachers". He is a Film, Television and Media Productions major in the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University and is a member of the Class of 2020. Conor grew up in Caldwell, New Jersey and attended James Caldwell High School prior to his arrival at Quinnipiac. He was a member of the Swimming and Baseball programs while at James Caldwell High School, during which he captained the swim team his Junior and Senior year. Conor is also a member of Q30 Television station on campus and is looking to become a producer later on in life.
Lead Football Analyst and Co-Founder
Matt is NFL analyst for From The Bleachers, and is a journalism major and a Public Relations minor within the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University as a member of the 2020 graduating class. Matt grew up in Milton, Massachusetts which is a small town just outside of Boston. Matt is all about taking life day by day and going one- hundred percent at everything you do. Matt is also a content coordinator for the Quinnipiac Athletic department, dealing with social media and feature writing. He also enjoys being on stage as a member of the improv troupe Comic Sans at Quinnipiac. Matt hopes to continue gaining experience in the journalism field and enjoying the remaining time he has at Quinnipiac.

Nick Beaudoin is our hockey analyst on "From The Bleachers", as well as one of the co-hosts of "The Hub", a hockey podcast alongside Dan Bahl. He is a broadcast journalism major in the school of communications at Quinnipiac University and is a member of the class of 2020. Nick grew up in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and attended St. John's high School prior to his arrival at Quinnipiac. He was a member of the lacrosse, hockey and tennis programs while at St. John's. Nick is also a member of the Bobcats Sports Media Group (BSMG) in Quinnipiac’s Athletic department as well as student run media organizations the Quinnipiac Bobcats Sports Network (QBSN) and Q30 Television on campus. Nick also is a member of the intramural ice hockey program.

Sophia is our Social Media Manager for “From The Bleachers.” She is a public relations major, media studies minor in the accelerated bachelor’s and master’s program within Quinnipiac University’s School of Communications. Sophia is also a member of the Quinnipiac Bobcats Sports Network (QBSN). She writes for the literary journal, Montage, and the live entertainment show, Quinnipiac Tonight. The public relations manager for WQAQ. A Long Island native, Sophia is a huge New York Rangers fan and one day hopes to work for them.

Liz is a media studies major, sports studies minor in the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Quinnipiac Bobcats Sports Network, a Q30 Sports contributor and a photographer for Quinnipiac Athletics. Liz is also the photographer for the “Beantown Beauties” intramural hockey team. Outside of athletics, she is a member of Step to Perfection, the Association for Women in Sports Media and the secretary of her sorority, Chi Omega.

Joe Bertolami is a sophomore at Quinnipiac University, studying Communications with a focus in Public Relations. He is a native of Burlington, Massachusetts, and attended Burlington High School, where he played varsity hockey and tennis. He also wrote for and edited the school's newspaper. As for writing experience, he spent two years with the USA Junior Hockey Magazine as a contributing writer. He is currently a member of the Quinnipiac Bobcats Sports Network. He sees himself getting involved with PR clubs at Quinnipiac in the coming years.
Sports and Pop Culture Blogger
Tyler Brosious, who is almost always referred to as “Brosh” in Hamden, is in his sixth and final year at Quinnipiac as he obtains his Master’s degree in Interactive Media and Social Media. Brosh is currently a graduate assistant with Quinnipiac’s Athletic Communications department and the Director of the Bobcats Sports Media Group while overseeing Quinnipiac Athletics’ social-media footprint. He also is one of the department’s feature writers. He has spent the past five years as an intern with Barstool Sports and has now been with Transition Sports and Entertainment for the past two years. In his free time, which is sparse, Brosh has been constantly on the hunt for his first dog until he finds the perfect pooch and when he does it will take most of his free time. He will be writing on From the Bleachers about...Well, we have no idea what he will be writing about, but it should be fun.
Justin Cait is an incoming senior at Quinnipiac University where he will intern with the AHL’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers and is a member of Quinnipiac Athletics’ Bobcat Sports Media Group. Justin spent the last two years as the Sports Editor and Web Director for The Quinnipiac Chronicle, where he covered the Quinnipiac men’s ice hockey team. He has previously worked for The Boston Globe, NBC Sports Group and Mansfield Inc. among various other media outlets.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Justin is somehow a die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan and a very humble captain of the reigning, back-to-back Quinnipiac Intramural Ice Hockey Champions.
Tim Carrier is a junior college student attending the University of Connecticut, who is majoring in Statistics and minoring in Mathematics. Tim is currently working as a Statistical Analyst at ESPN, and with the gameday operations department of the Hartford Yard Goats. After college, Tim is looking to get into baseball analytics with a Major League Baseball team. Tim's a huge Red Sox fan, and has the highest OBP on the ESPN softball team, so he knows his stuff.
Basketball Blogger, Host of "Care to Discuss"
Peter Dewey is a junior at Quinnipiac University where he is the Opinion Editor and one of the Quinnipiac Men’s and Women’s basketball beat reporters for the Quinnipiac Chronicle. He is also a contributing sportswriter at the Meriden Record-Journal where he interned this past summer and a member of the Bobcat Sports Media Group. Outside of writing, he co-hosts a sports talk radio show, “The Kevin and Dewey Show” for WQAQ 98.1 FM as well as the “Care To Discuss?” Podcast for the Quinnipiac Chronicle. Peter was born and raised in Cromwell, Connecticut where he was a two-sport athlete at Cromwell High and a Connecticut High School Coaches Association First-Team All-State selection in basketball. He is a die-hard Yankees, Knicks and Denver Broncos fan and one day would like to cover the Knicks in his career.

John Franklin is an avid sports fan from the great state of New Jersey. With experience ranging from NY Sports blogging, to working with Colin Cowherd, John has seen it all. He is a baseball, football, and basketball junkie, and can’t wait for the road ahead with FTB. A self-proclaimed “mind of useless knowledge”, John spends his weeknights roaming the bar trivia scene, so he challenges you to stump him!
Hockey Analytics Blogger
Born and raised in Warren, New Jersey, Kevin Meiselman is a junior at Quinnipiac University. He is one of the most passionate New York Rangers fans you will ever meet, and you can hear that passion on "33rd & 7th: A New York Rangers Podcast" as well as "The Kevin and Dewey Show." When he's not behind the mic, Kevin contributes to the Quinnipiac Chronicle as a sports and opinion writer. His weekly opinions emphasize mental health awareness as he attempts to change the conversation surrounding mental illness. He is also a brother of the fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI), incorporating his love for broadcasting as the face of the chapter's social media presence. A fun fact about Kevin is that he holds every 3-point record for his high school. He will be a hockey blogger with a focus on analytics for FTB.
Sports Gambling Blogger
Jake is from Granby, CT. He's a huge Pittsburgh sports fan. Steelers, penguins, Pirates, you name it, Jake bleeds black and gold. Jake played one year of college hockey at Duquesne University. Currently, he's a high school level baseball and hockey coach and personal trainer. Jake's goal with his clients and his athletes is to motivate through fitness and proper diet. Jake is an expert sports gambler, including winning 58% of his picks during the 2017 NFL season. and 63% of MLB picks during the 2018 season. He's excited to join FTB, and he's ready to make it you money.
A sophomore marketing major at Quinnipiac University, Dustin Moffre is a budding writer who has an eye for detail and will settle for nothing less than perfection in his work. Dustin hopes to take his experiences from the Quinnipiac School of Business and turn it into a marketing career in London, England.
Coming from a small town in Upstate New York, just outside of Albany, Dustin has developed a passion for hard work and country music. His love for the music genre has led him to creating and hosting the award-winning radio show, “The Country Hour,” on WQAQ 98.1.
Juliana, otherwise known as Jules and “The Walking Hockey Encyclopedia,” is a junior communications major at Boston University. She previously attended Quinnipiac University. Last year, Juliana was the Managing Editor of Quinnipiac Bobcat Sports Network. She managed the organization's website and edited all online content, as well as assisted with the production of QBSN: The Magazine. She also wrote articles and broadcasted games with QBSN. Juliana was a contributor and social media content producer for Blackhawk Up, a Chicago Blackhawks FanSided blog. She currently works as a Public Relations Intern for the New York Lizards.

Ben O'Sullivan is a biology major from Dorchester, Massachusetts. Aside from his professional career, however, Ben is a die-hard New England Patriots fan, and a self-proclaimed fantasy football expert. He's been a fixture in the FF community for the past decade, and is ready to spread his wealth of knowledge with the listeners of 4th and Goal. Ben will shed light on the biggest sleepers and busts each week, and give advice on who to start and who to bench.
Hockey and Baseball Blogger, Host of "Dump and Change"
Steven Pappas is from Washington Township, New Jersey and graduated from Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, New Jersey where he played football for 3 years and baseball for 4. Steven and the baseball team won the Bergen County Championship in his senior year, the school’s first championship since 1999. At Quinnipiac Steven is a part of the Quinnipiac Bobcat Sports Network (QBSN) where he does play-by-play and color commentary for the schools hockey, baseball and basketball teams. Steven is a die-hard Mets and Rangers fan, and cannot be around during the NHL playoffs when the Rangers are in it. His broadcast idols are Doc Emrick of the NHL on NBC, the entire Mets broadcasting crew, and Tom Rinaldi of ESPN.
College Sports, Hockey Blogger
A senior journalism major at Quinnipiac University, Kirby Paulson has a passion for sports and leadership. He’s the chairman of the Quinnipiac Bobcats Sports Network and hopes to be able to transfer the skilled he’s gaining into a position in sports communications or business.
Over the summer, Kirby interned with NASCAR in North Carolina, where he learned the ins-and-outs of the corporate side of a major sports league. He also works with Fan and Youth Engagement at the Boston Red Sox, showing us that it really is possible to land a job with your dream team if you're willing to work a little extra for it.
WWE Blogger, Host of "4th and Goal"
Pat Pitts is a senior journalism major at Quinnipiac University. You name it in student media, and Pat has done it. He's the broadcast manager at QBSN, as well as a writer and play-by-play man. He's a co-host of The Rush Hour morning show on WQAQ, hosting the Wednesday morning shows. He's also a Content Coordinator for the Bobcat Sports Media Group, an arm of the QU athletic department. Outside of QU, you can find Pitts flipping burgers at Sully's, and working as a promoter for some of the hottest clubs in Boston. Or, he'll be on his couch playing Fortnite.
He's also Spongebob Squarepants. It's confirmed.
Will Rasmussen is a senior at Wentworth College in Boston, where he studies Mechanical Engineering. Will is originally from Windsor Locks, CT, where he played baseball his entire life. When he wasn't playing baseball, he was talking about it or watching it. He's a fan of all of the pro sports teams in Boston, and has been to the majority of MLB stadiums. And, no matter what sport he's talking about, Will's always liable to drop a hot take or two.
Basketball Blogger, Host of "Care to Discuss"
Logan Reardon is a third year student in Quinnipiac University’s accelerated bachelor’s and master’s program. A journalism major and sports studies minor, he is currently the Sports Editor of The Quinnipiac Chronicle and co-host of The Chronicle’s “Care to Discuss?” podcast. Originally from Massachusetts, Logan spent last summer in Los Angeles interning with NFL.com, writing news stories and feature articles. He previously interned with the Record-Journal newspaper in Meriden, CT. As Sports Editor of The Chronicle, Logan mainly focuses on the Quinnipiac basketball teams and writes a weekly column during the season. He’s always ready for basketball season and he needs you to know two things: 1. Kyrie Irving will never be a Knick. 2. Celtics in 7. Get ready for some basketball talk, because Logan’s going to give you a lot of it.
UFC and Pop Culture Blogger
Cullen Ronan is a senior journalism major at Quinnipiac University. He currently serves as Web Director of Q30 Television, co-host of WQAQ’s award winning program “Terms and Conditions” and has spent more money than he’d like to admit on concerts that no more than 20 people ever show up too. A lifelong fan of both mixed martial arts and heavy metal, you can catch him in the stands or in the mosh pit. One might say his interests could be conveniently broken down into two distinct categories - breakdowns or takedowns.
Max Schreiber is a 19-year-old from Mahwah, New Jersey and is currently a Sophomore at Quinnipiac University. He is majoring in journalism with a minor in sports studies. Max is an avid sports fan and uses his fandom in his work. He is currently the host of an hour radio show “Sports to the Max” every Monday on WQAQ Radio at Quinnipiac. Max writes and Commentates for Quinnipiac athletics as a member of the Quinnipiac Bobcats Sports Network. He is also involved with Q30 television doing off and on air work.
Pop Culture Blogger
Emma Spagnuolo is a 20-year-old senior journalism major at Quinnipiac University from Randolph, NJ. She is the current General Manager of WQAQ 98.1, Quinnipiac’s student-run radio station, and a Production and Promotions Assistant for New Jersey’s rock radio station, 105.5 WDHA. While at Quinnipiac, she hosts WQAQ’s weekday morning show, “The Rush Hour,” with Dan Bahl.
In her free time, Emma enjoys hanging out with friends & family, eating sushi and scrolling through social media - particularly keeping up with entertainment news.
Morgan Tencza is a second-year student at Quinnipiac University. She is majoring in communications and working on a minor in sports studies and public relations. Currently, Morgan is the photography editor for The Quinnipiac Chronicle. Her hope is to work for a professional sports team either focusing on photography or communications. Over the summer, Morgan expanded her photography portfolio with an internship with Philadelphia Union affiliate, Bethlehem Steel FC. Working with the team allowed her to learn the ins and outs of working with a professional soccer team, make career-driven connections and have her photos published and enjoyed by others.
Zach Weigert is a native of Windsor Locks, CT, and has been playing and following baseball his entire life. He's a huge Sox fan, and religiously follows the other pro sports teams in Boston. Zach knows the game inside-and-out, and knows what makes a player and a team great. He knows the analytical side of the game, but can also evaluate a guy with the classic eye test.
Avery is a Management major at Quinnipiac University. He worked for the New York Rangers, has contributed to Barstool Sports, and currently works for the Quinnipiac Athletic Department. Also, he is the Co-Host of 33rd & 7th: A New York Rangers Podcast. Avery will be covering all things hockey for FTB.
